While single-thread random performance is only in the middle of our test group, we see very nice performance at multi-threaded reads.

If that seem incremental, going on insignificant, bear in mind that numbers above 500MB/s for peak throughput are hammering up against the maximum capabilities of the SATA6Gbps interface.

oh, another thing, to consider would be how would each fair after 2 or 3 years of use? Would they both be about the same would be my next question. If about the same, I'd get the OCZ because they've been at this longer and tweaking longer. But if there's a difference bigger than 10% I'd go with the faster one.
When you have a difference in score of .3, it's saying you don't feel strongly that either is better than the other. And how do we measure .3? It only shows that you wanted the Samsung to win... which is fine. No problem there because you had your reasons.. But someone who favored the OCZ could have easily pulled .3 out from somewhere and said it was the winner too. That said, they both sound like winners to me.
